Al Moudira
Most of the area's hotels are located on the East Bank of the Nile, among the souvenir shops and busy Nile cruise moorings of Luxor. There are a few exceptions and Al Moudira is one of them.
Al Moudira hotel is an absolutely unique palace located in peaceful isolation on the West bank of the Nile, about a 25 minute drive from Luxor-the side of the Nile where Egypt's most breathtaking antique sites lie. It is the only palace situated between the desert's edge and the green and fertile fields of the west bank of the Nile. Across the river from the hustle and bustle of Luxor, it is the ideal base for leisurely exploration of the sights of the West Bank or relaxing after a Nile cruise.
The domes and the patios ornate with arabesque makes up the oriental. It offers an outdoor pool and a spacious terrace. All the rooms and suites at Al Moudira are individually designed and fitted with antique furniture, featuring a unique traditional oriental décor. Each is equipped with a satellite TV, a minibar and a telephone. The suites include a spacious lounge.
Guests can enjoy the mix between the Mediterranean and Eastern at the Great Room Restaurant. Snacks, salads and pizzas are enjoyed at the swimming pool pavilion. Cocktails are served at the Colonial Bar.
