Day 1 -  Meet and Greet at Cairo Airport 

Arrive Cairo airport, where you will be met by our representative before passport control and before luggage collecting. Later you will be transferred to your hotel.

 

Private Transfer Cairo Airport to Four Seasons at The First Residence Hotel.

Once you have collected your Luggage, you will board your vehicle and transfer to your hotel.

 

 

Day 2 - Memphis / Sakkara / Pyramids / Sphinx 

Our full day tour begins with Memphis, ancient capital of Egypt in Pharaonic times, and the chosen city of the God Ptah. Here you will see the marvelous Alabaster Sphinx and the Colossus of Ramses II. Proceed to Sakkara, the vast Necropolis of Ancient Memphis, where you will see the famous Step Pyramid of Zoser, the first tall building known to mankind.

 

Continue to Giza to see the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, continue to visit the Sphinx, the largest single block sculpture of all times where you will explore the Valley temple over which the Sphinx stands guard. The Sphinx was carved from one solid piece of limestone, and measures 50 metres (164 Feet) in length and 22 metres (72 Feet) in height.

 

Lunch today included in a Local Restaurant. You Will Enjoy the Lunch Overlooking The Giza Plateau.

​Day 3: Transfer to Aswan Airport

After breakfast, you will be met by our representative for your private transfer to Aswan Airport for your onward bound flight. On arrival at Aswan Airport, You will be met by our representative for your Private transfer by road to the boarding point of your Cruise.

Embarkation before lunch,

After Lunch, go ashore to Visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries and the Temple of Philae

Leave the Cruise and drive over the Old Aswan Barrage, constructed in the 1920’s over the Nile’s 1st cataract. You will arrive at the site of the Aswan High Dam; one of the largest rock-filled dams in the world and considered as a great achievement of modern construction. From the top of the dam you will look out at Lake Nasser, the largest artificial Lake in the world. You will also visit the enormous hydroelectric power station that generates electricity for all of Egypt. Proceed to the docks on Lake Nasser for a short boat ride to the island of Philae where you will visit the beautiful Temple of Isis. Continue to the Granite Quarries in the Aswan hills where the ancient Egyptian quarried for the strong stone of which they built their everlasting monuments. Here you will see the collossal monolith, which is unfinished obelisk, commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut, but abandoned after discovering a crack that rendered it unworthy for a queen's monument. At the end of the tour you will sail back to the Cruise.

Afternoon sailing by Felucca & view of Agha Khan Mausoleum. This evening enjoy dinner with music in the lounge.                                                                                        Overnight in Aswan   (L/D)

Day 4: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples

In The Early Morning Sailing to Kom Ombo, you will have your Breakfast, and then you will head to Visit Kom-Ombo Temple. It is dedicated to the hawk-headed god, Harwar and the crocodile god, Sobek. 40 km north of Aswan and  70 km south of Edfu is the Temple of Kom Ombo, also known as the duel temple of Sobek and Haroeris. "Duel" because everything is doubled in this perfectly symmetrical temple. Twin entrances, twin halls, twin colonnades, etc. The Greco-Roman temple is directly on the banks of the Nile, and can be seen from the boat if

 

you’re on a Nile cruiser. Like the Temple of Esna, and Horus it was built by the Ptolemies during the 2nd century BC. Lots of vendors have set up souvenir stands right outside the temple, and the entire setting is quite unique. 

 

After Lunch on Board you will Visit Edfu Temple” Temple of falcon-headed, Horus “ One of the finest examples of Ptolemaic art in Egypt. You will be transferred to the temple by Caleche. The city of Edfu lies half way between Luxor and Aswan on the site of the ancient city of Djeba. Located 100 km south of Luxor, and 53 km south of Esna, it is home to the best preserved, and largest Greco-Roman temple in Egypt, the Temple of Horus. This evening after Dinner, the cruise will continue sailing to Luxor via Esna, enjoy an Egyptian Galabeya party.                                                                                                                 Overnight in Luxor   (B/L/D)

Day 5:-  West Bank Tour / Karnak Temple / Luxor Temple

Early morning enjoy your Breakfast on board. Leave the cruise and head to visit West Bank (Valley of Kings & Queens, Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon). Your visit starts at the two Collossi of Memnon which are the only remnants of a once collosal funerary temple built by Amenhotep III. Cross the Nile to visit the Necropolis of Ancient Thebes, the city of the dead. I. Drive on to visit the beautiful funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, originally dedicated to the godess Hathor, deity of love and Beauty.

     Overnight in Luxor    (B/L/D)

After the Lunch, you will head to Visit Karnak Temple & Luxor Temple. Walk along the Avenue of Sphinx to enter the complex as your guide explains how the massive facade was constructed. On entering the Temples of Karnak you will see each legacy left by the various pharaohs as the complex grew even larger. Walking through the Great Court into the Great Hypostyle Hall, it's hard not to be overwhelmed by the 134 columns towering above you like an ancient forest. Continue to Luxor Temple. Which was once joined to the Temples of Karnak by a two-kilometer long Avenue of Sphinx, a portion of which marks the entrance to the temple. Dominated by statues of the great warrior pharaoh Ramses II, Luxor A pure Egyptian temple, the inner walls and columns are decorated with intricate hieroglyphics which your guide will help you decipher.

 

Day 6:  Disembarkation

After breakfast, you will be met by our representative for your private transfer to Luxor  airport for your fight to Cairo .

 

Transfer Cairo Airport to Four Seasons at Nile Plaza Hotel.

Once you have collected your luggage, you will aboard your vehicle for your private transfer to your hotel Four Seasons at Nile Plaza for Check in.

 

Cairo- Night at Leisure

A night at leisure to either relax at your hotel or further explore this ancient city. You have time to shop in the colorful street markets and bargain for souvenirs of this Ancient Civilization.

Day 7: Museum / Old Cairo / Khan El Khalili 

After breakfast we Leave the hotel and will heading to the famous Egyptian Museum, where you can see the unique and only collection of Pharaonic art, starting with the Old Kingdom Collection, on to the Middle and New Kingdom galleries and Greco-Roman periods. An in-depth visit of the famous Tut-Ankh-Amon treasures is featured on this tour.

After Egyptian Museum Tour, we will drive to to Coptic Cairo, the centre of Christianity in Cairo.  On the site of a Roman-Byzantine fortress town, Coptic Cairo (or Old Cairo) is a fascinating place to visit.  Once we descend the short stairway into the quarter, we will feel removed from the hustle-and-bustle of Cairo.  Along the quaint, modest alleyways are small, modest homes.  We will walk the cobblestone streets and stop at a few of the churches here., were you will visit Hanging Church, dating to the late 4th and early 5th Century, this basilica was named "Al-Mu'allaqah" because it was built on top of the south gate of the Fortress of Babylon. Continue to Church of St. Sergius, dating back to the beginning of the 5th Century, this basilica is built on the cave in which the Holy Family stayed and is regarded by visitors as a source of blessing. As we stroll along, we will come  to the recently restored Synagogue of Ben Ezra-- the oldest Jewish synagogue in Egypt.  Despite the 45 Jewish families that remain in Cairo, the synagogue is no longer operational.

Driving downhill the narrow streets and alleys that form the Khalili bazaars, where you can enjoy watching skilled craftsmen working with gold, silver, brass and where you can buy hand made souvenirs at bargain prices.
